From two people trying to upskill the world, to creating a global training system that served learners in 13 countries, to the world's first AI Digital Human teachers - this is the story of Otermans Institute.
Otermans Institute (OI) is an international organization based in London, focusing on research and developing affordable educational tools for a global audience using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
OI is committed to democratising education through Artificial Intelligence, upskilling learners globally and making them more employable in Industrial Revolution 4.0.
We are on a mission to upskill 750 million students through soft skills and professional development skills training using an AI-teacher, ensuring that no learner is left behind.
Through our training, we are supporting learners who are forced out of school due to the pandemic, those who are in extremely remote locations, and those who have been affected by violence and war-like refugees in United Nations camps.
We often work closely with governments including in the UK, NGOs and UN bodies to help upskill such learners and help them become more employable
We often work closely with governments including in the UK, NGOs and UN bodies to help up-skill such learners and help them become more employable. Through our work, we have impacted 35.000+ learners and more are coming.
We have created a cross-border training system for soft skills and professional development that is functional in 13 countries
We are up skilling the world’s unserved and underserved populations at scale.
We are democratizing our training through AI technology and giving everyone a one-to-one AI teacher in their pocket.

Our Technology is currently being lab-tested in London and across the globe.
At OI, priority is always given to ideas that can truly serve a generation. The breadth of potential use and benefits that may be generational are given priority over cool technology or content
We like building conversational AI, for instance, to give a teacher to the unserved millions of learners, instead of just creating another Chatbot secretary.
