Otermans Institute (OI) is an international organization based in London, focusing on research and developing affordable educational tools for a global audience using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
OI is committed to democratising education through Artificial Intelligence, upskilling learners globally and making them more employable in Industrial Revolution 4.0.
We are on a mission to upskill 750 million students through soft skills and professional development skills training using an AI-teacher, ensuring that no learner is left behind.
Through our training, we are supporting learners who are forced out of school due to the pandemic, those who are in extremely remote locations, and those who have been affected by violence and war-like refugees in United Nations camps.
We often work closely with governments including in the UK, NGOs and UN bodies to help upskill such learners and help them become more employable
We’ve partnered with governments, NGOs, and UN bodies to deliver soft skills and professional‑development training to underserved learners. Through these efforts, we have reached over 35,000 learners across multiple regions.
Our cross‑border training system is now functional in 13 countries, enabling learners from diverse contexts to access world‑class soft‑skills and up‑skilling opportunities.
Through the OI Lead Kenya initiative, we’ve empowered young leaders across Kenya with leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship training. This program equips youth with the skills to drive positive change in their communities while building employable soft skills.
We are tackling the global employability‑skills gap by delivering targeted training to unserved and underserved populations — including remote and displaced learners.
Our AI‑powered digital human teacher technology brings personalised instruction to learners wherever they are, scaling quality education beyond traditional classrooms.
